Besides the financial barrier to entry is relatively low, you retain your copyrights, have total creative control, earn substantially more money per book sold and typically have to do the same level of marketing whether you go through a traditional publisher or self-publish the argument of self-publishing starts looking brighter and brighter, BUT WAIT THERE'S MORE!
